The Family Behind the Wine
Three Sisters Winery is a true family affair. Owned by Rebecca and Matthew Mikulic along with Rebecca's parents, John and Liz Lawrence, the winery was born out of a shared passion for winemaking. After working in the wine industry for years, Rebecca met Matthew, a winemaker with experience from California, Australia, and Europe. They decided to settle in Penticton and start their own winery, producing their first vintage in 2014 on Rebecca’s parents' vineyard. Family and friends were instrumental in those early days, helping label every bottle by hand.
The name "Three Sisters" not only comes from Rebecca's parents' vineyard but also reflects the trio of sisters in both Rebecca's and Matthew's families. This sense of family extends to everyone who visits the winery, creating a community of wine lovers who share their passion.
