About the Guide

Eric Newton, the lead guide at Mountain Bluebird Tours, brings decades of experience and a deep love for birds to his tours. Growing up in southern Ontario, Eric developed his passion for birdwatching through his grandfather. Since moving to western Canada in 2001, he has worked as a field biologist, gaining extensive knowledge about birds, mammals, and amphibians. Eric is dedicated to sharing his enthusiasm for the natural world with his clients, providing tours in both English and French​.
