The Vineyards
Nichol Vineyard's vineyards surround the winery, situated at the northernmost tip of Naramata, adjacent to the Kettle Valley Railway. The Syrah vineyard, the first to be planted in Canada, consists of 17 rows of vines planted on granite in the northeastern part of the vineyard. These vineyards are west and south-facing, with elevations ranging from 1,400 to 1,500 feet. The vines are own-rooted and un-grafted, enhancing their unique character and resilience.
